Lisa
William's name can be found scattered throughout noted publications
such as The Washington Times, The
Washington Post, and The Bowie Star.
The
January 27, 2000 edition of The Bowie Star dedicated an article
to Lisa in the Star Lifestyles section of their newspaper.
The article talks about the unique way in which Lisa's affair
with music came to life.
On May 6th of 1999, as part of an article about Mapleshade
recording studio, a photo of Lisa recording can be found occupying
the entire top half of the first page of the LifeTimes section
in The Washington Times. About one-third of the article pertains
to Lisa, and of the four photos within the article, three
feature Lisa and/or her acoustic guitar.
Lisa
has also been found as the feature musician highlighting the
local music scene in some of these same publications with
her picture alongside the weekly metropolitan event listings.
Because
she participated on a CD put together for the Burning Bush
Fund, a fund setup to raise money for the Washington Hospital
Center, Lisa's name can also be found in The Washington Post
as one of the two musicians on the CD specifically noted for
proving "to be exceptional singers on their light rock
tunes." |
